I got the chance to photograph this beautiful family on the first weekend of June, and we had such a fun time!

Backstory: MaryLynn is one of my good friends. We met while attending Ursuline College in 2007. We were both in the art program, and ended up traveling to Greece and Italy together with our art history group in 2008 as well! She’s a genuine person with a huge heart, and I’m so honored and thankful that our friendship has survived the test of time and distance. She was also a bridesmaid at my wedding in 2010, we have so many good memories together. So it was completely natural for me to photograph her family for their family photos, and it’s one of my favorite sessions to date!

MaryLynn chose the best place to have their photos shot at, we met at the Rocky River Nature Preserve and walked all over, and ended up in the river, which was so fun!

I love family sessions where the kids are allowed to be themselves and have fun, it makes for the most genuine smiles and awesome memories. I love to document those details! Happy kids = fun family photos haha!
