If you’ve never met Shelley, let me do a quick intro: she is fun, interesting, and will enthusiastically say “yes!” when you ask her to leap through the snow like a bounding rabbit (haha!).

She also became a nurse in 2020 and I don’t think I need to tell you how important that is.

Anyway – she met me at a local lake park as the light was falling. It had been snowing on and off all day and I totally didn’t account for how fast the light would leave us. In spite of my shortcoming in that regard, Shelley was game and I was able to create some gorgeous portraits of her. And it turns out that the light made everything kind of dreamy and full of contrast, and I’m really happy with her session images.

Thanks for humoring me, Shelley, it was worth it!
